Employment opportunities in American universities

Most of the opportunities below are offered to qualified applicants irrespective of nationality.

3.1. Assistant professor in dance history, tenure track.
3.2. Fellowships including tuition, remission, stipend, travel, and supply funds.
3.3. Contemporary dance teacher with experience in teaching elementary through advanced students, composition and improvisation: repertory, partnering, jazz, African, dance history.
3.4. Full-time guest artist, contemporary technique based in a cultural dance form such as jazz, tap, hip-hop, contact improvisation.
3.5. Teaching fellow, earning a MFA degree in Dance.
3.6. Assistant professor, to teach technique, dance composition, repertory and theory courses; supervise student choreography, internships and research; advise undergraduate and graduate students.
3.7. Assistant professor of Dance/Theatre to teach courses in creative dance and creative drama; seminar in teaching dance/theatre; dance theory/criticism.
3.8. Dance director and assistant director for a program of ballet, modern, jazz, tap and fundamentals.
